My room was ornate, boasting an incredibly comfortable bed and thoughtful extras like cookies and fresh milk. Easy early check-in and free parking made my stay even better.

My stay in the Deluxe Family Suite was perfect for exploring Kilkenny. I loved how cozy and warm the apartment felt, especially after arriving soaked from cycling in the rain. The fully equipped kitchen was a lifesaver, and I appreciated having a clothes dryer. It was also a quick stroll to the city center, making it convenient to visit attractions like St Mary’s Cathedral and the Black Abbey.

Staying at Kilmore Guesthouse was a delightful experience. The Budget Double Room felt cozy and welcoming. Loved the mini fridge stocked with cold drinks and the kettle for tea and cookies after a long day of exploring. It was great not having to drive. everything was within walking distance. However, the cleanliness of the pillow disappointed me, as I found makeup stains and hair on it, which was concerning late at night with no staff on-site. The breakfast pack and the convenience of check-in were nice touches too. All in all, it was a comfortable stay with just a couple of hiccups.

I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my pillow, which had visible stains. Additionally, it would have been nice if better soundproofing was in place as I could hear noises from the hallway. Lastly, the heating in the room was too intense, making it uncomfortable at times during my stay.

The bed was super comfy, free Wi-Fi was great, but the air conditioning struggled.

The guesthouse was just a short walk from Kilkenny's vibrant city center. We really enjoyed the mini fridge stocked with drinks and the sweet touch of cookies after a day of exploring. Staying with babies was made easier by the cozy setup that felt just like home.

My wife says that it would be great if there were more soundproofing in the hallways for a quieter experience.
